My sister has pancreatic cancer, and now has metastases in her lung, liver and abdomen. She can’t taste food-possibly a side effect of the chemo she was on. Her oncologist has stopped her chemo now. Unfortunately, they didn't do what I was expecting. I hoped that they would take away the bitter taste of certain things. However, they didn't make any difference whatsoever to my taste.

Tried a quarter of a tablet, a couple of times. Seems to make acidic foods taste extremely sweet to my sweetness and saltiness taste buds, but can still also taste the acidity further back on my tongue. The sweetness is quite a bit different to the taste of sugar. Definitely doesn't make bitterness taste sweet (tried quinine).

Husbands taste has changed after heart attack, the medication is making everything taste bitter. He has tried the tablet and was able to eat a little more, I’m hoping he’ll make a habit out of taking them but he is becoming fed up with taking so many tablets. I’ll keep persevering, will definitely order more if he takes them
Personally I'm not sure if it's a problem with my sense of taste or if I got a bad batch, I followed the instructions and let the tablet dissolve in my mouth for 2 minutes but fruit did not taste substantially sweeter nor was it less sour. I still have more tablets left so I'll keep trying.
